Service Description

At this workshop you will be shown how to hand-saw your pendant out of sterling silver sheet, and you will learn the key techniques of filing, drilling, doming and soldering, where appropriate. You will also be shown decorative finishes such as hammered texture and reticulated to make your finished piece of jewellery individual to you. Please note: As this is a half-day workshop time will be limited - if you would like to work on a more ambitious project why not consider our 'Studio Time' full day workshop or Evening Classes? The price includes the use of all tools and equipment, and refreshments (tea, coffee, soft drinks and biscuits). The price does not include the cost of materials. All the sterling silver required to make your jewellery can be bought on the day using card or cash. Approximately £10-£14 of sterling silver will make a pendant. The workshops are for a maximum of 4 people. Participants must be 16 years and above unless accompanied by an adult – please contact me to discuss this. Please wear old clothes, and for health and safety no open toe shoes and long hair to be tied back. Free car parking is available for workshop attendees, details will be sent in the booking confirmation email.
