Service Description

Learn how to create a beautiful wide textured ring and add two loose silver spinning rings.   You will be shown how to size and shape your ring, along with the key techniques of hand-sawing, filing and soldering.  At each stage of the process there will be an introduction and demonstration of the techniques required to make the ring.   Please note: As the basic ring-making technique used in this class is the same as for a Band Ring without the spinners on it is possible to make a Band Ring with a different finish during this workshop. The price includes the use of all tools and equipment, and refreshments (tea, coffee, soft drinks and biscuits).  Please bring a packed lunch as this is not included in the day The price does not include the cost of materials.  All the sterling silver required to make your jewellery can be bought on the day using card or cash. The main band of sterling silver will cost £15, and there will be style choices for the spinning components which will vary between £4 and £10. The workshops are for a maximum of 4 people.  Participants must be 16 years and above unless accompanied by an adult – please contact me to discuss this. Please wear old clothes, and for health and safety no open toe shoes and long hair to be tied back. Free car parking is available for workshop attendees, details will be sent in the booking confirmation email.
